Gateshead Walking Group meets at the close of the Members' Meeting on the third Monday of each month, where are given details of the next walk and where to meet.

Our walks are on the 4th Monday of each month. We car share and meet others at the designated car park from where we start our walk.

Several members of the group share the arranging of walks and the person who decides on a particular walk is the leader for that day. Our walks are about 5 miles in length and we usually take a picnic lunch. At the end of the walk we usually look for a convenient coffee shop to finish the walk at.
